Hello I is Sohail. I is lead sexy boy with band Silly Automatic. I help write songs and all ideas that are good for band Silly Automatic. I is also (so am told) v sexy on stage with my long hair down, providing large shape for Paul to hide behind (him being very Andy Partridge about live performance). So I is the front man to Paul and David who provide plinky plonk on guitars, Paul also does bang bang noises but enough about him. I is 34 which is young for me and I live in magical Huddersfield which I like very nice though people here always grumble about it but never leave. I started with Paul doing stuff two years ago and more. We wrote a lot of numbers but Paul wanted another plinky plonker so we inherited David from a job lot of cover musicians who were about to be destroyed at the local pound.

Me: (poking my fingers through the wire mesh and jumping up and down excitedly) Can I have that one, the one with the big sad eyes clutching the twelve string?

Paul: oh all right then. But you will have to house train him.

I did a pretty good job at house training David, having studied theatre at Dartington College of Art. Where I mastered in running around naked and performance tree hugging. Co-incidentally Paul also attended the same institution a few years before me though he studied art. He is still perhaps better known for his work in animal stuffings which he was doing years before Damien Hirst. Infact he stuffed so many animals the police had to be called.

After college I travelled to Russia where in Moscow I studied how to be a screen star at the Central Institute for Cinematography where I learn't dodging bullets, keeping warm and listening to esoteric nonsense about the creative spirit. Whilst next door the real money is being made by film students doing hard core porn for export. Which is good reality preparation for anyone in artistic practice in this con'try (go see the Millenium Dome). Well, I could go on for ever, so enough from me.
