This is a private photographic gallery setup for friends and family.

If you have lost or forgotten your username and/or password to access the gallery email us at info@watsonpress.co.uk and we'll send you them.

Registered friends and family can also post their own photos to the gallery.

Registered users have an initial disk quota of 2048Kb (2 Megabytes - about 40 photos*). Images must be 72 DPI (dots per inch) resolution and a maximum of 400 pixels wide or high (depending on whether the image is landscape or portrait)
*Ideally individual images should be less than 50Kb in size.

Images must be in JPG format - compression would be 75-85% (or medium quality). Filenames must not include spaces or non alpha-numeric symbols (the usual labelling by digital cameras will be fine e.g. DSCN0001.JPG).

Tip: Using an image editing program like IrfanView is useful (www.irfanview.com)
Tip: It's a good idea to prepare all your images before uploading
- that way you can check the total filesize etc.

Please let us know if you're thinking of uploading a large quantity of images. Why not send an eCard from the site to let people know about the new images (please remember it's a private gallery - users must be registered to access the gallery).

Step-by-Step Instructions
Go to 'Create/order my albums'

Click 'New' and type a name for your new album
in the input box which says New Album at the bottom

Click 'Apply Modifications'

Click to confirm...

Go to 'Upload Picture'

Choose your album (the album just created will show if this is your first)

Click 'Browse' to find image file on your computer

Give the picture a title and description if desired

Add any keywords if necessary separated by commas (e.g. hartlepool, clare etc.)

Then repeat the process for each image you wish to add

You can add images to your existing albums or create new albums for different subjects

Your images appear in a new album within a gallery labelled with your username - this will be in the Friends and Family Group

If necessary you can modify the album by choosing 'Modify my albums' - this allows you to change the album thumbnail or to change other album details
