Ronnie Scott's
"Ronnie's" is a world-renowned concert brand. Its programme of
late night jazz, mainly from the more traditional end of the spectrum,

a small club setting, gives it a unique ambience.

Royal Albert Hall
The Royal Albert Hall is London’s largest and longest-established music
for grown-ups venue, hosting the massive Proms season of classical music each
summer, as well as a multitude of poprock performers popular enough to sell 4,000
tickets, throughout the rest of the year.

Royal Opera House
The Royal Opera House dominates opera in Britain, with a continuous programme
mixing old favourites and new work, routinely casting the top international
singers.
The 2005 season includes: Wagner's Das Rheingold, and Die Walkure, the
first two parts of a new Ring Cycle; Puccini's La Boheme and Turandot;
Verdi's La Traviata, and Mozart's Mitridate.
World-class voices on display in 2005 include: Bryn Terfel, Angela Gheorghiu,
Marcelo Alvarez, Renee Fleming, Cecilia Bartoli, Rolando Villazon and
Placido Domingo.

South Bank Centre
London's South Bank Centre - Royal Festival Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall
and the smaller Purcell Room - stages the widest possible range of music
for grown-ups, from JS Bach to Sonny Rollins, Cassandra Wilson to Renee
Fleming. Highlight of 2005 is likely to be three gigs by Herbie Hancock
in May. Always worth checking out.

Wigmore Hall
London's Wigmore Hall, reopened in late 2004 after a major refit, majors
on vocal and instrumental recitals, eg Anne Murray and Andras Schiff.
The small space is known for the quality of its acoustics. It's conveniently
located, just behind Oxford Street, London's premier shopping destination,
and offers both lunchtime and evening concerts.
