30/04/2009 Jesse Winchester's new album - Love Filling Station
Thanks to Larry Kosofsky: “After several listens, I'm happy to recommend Jesse Winchester's new album, "Love Filling Station." “Yes, it's pretty much in the same vein as his fantastic "Gentleman of Leisure" recording of almost a decade ago, but the unmistakable voice and gentle humor are still remarkable. “He's got a terrific band backing him, some nice new songs, and a cover of "Stand By Me" that works. Good job, Jesse. “Add this to "Leonard Cohen Live in London" and "Together Through Life" and April '09 hasn't been too cruel.”
