06/07/2004 Giro Playboy live up to the hype - to close London festival
We predicted a couple of months ago that the future looked rosy for left-field urban slacker rap duo Giro Playboy. They're living up to the hype, and have just been picked to close the prestigious Clerkenwell Literary Festival. Following hot names like authors Will Self and Iain Sinclair, and ex-KLF art terrorist Bill Drummond, they're on at LSO St Lukes at 8pm next Wednesday, 14 July: The Idler Presents Love and Money: Bill Drummond… Plus tales from the underclass courtesy of the Giro Playboy. LSO St Lukes, £7.50. Tel 0207 691 0319 http://www.clerkenwelllitfest.org/html/programme.html
