31/05/2004 Chuck Berry and Jerry Lee Lewis - reader feedback
Reader Michael Pennington writes: On the Chuck Berry and Jerry Lee Lewis Tour: lighten up, Gerry. Yes it's true, these guys have not been prolific since their heyday but nor have many great musicians and bands whose legacy, like theirs, survives 50 years on. What finer accolade can there be, and what better reason than to witness them in their twilight years? You won't see the likes of Chuck and Jerry Lee again, and if they'd read your sadly dismissive article they wouldn't be missing your backside on one of the seats at their concert venues! Hail, hail Rock and Roll!
