20/02/2004 Dylan and the Blues, according to Michael Gray
Michael Gray, whose outstanding Dylan book, Song and Dance Man 3, has just gone into its sixth printing since publication in 1999, starts his 2004 Britain and Ireland speaking tour in Reading tomorrow night. Gray's new presentation, Bob Dylan and the Poetry of the Blues, follows an earlier series exploring Dylan's rock'n'roll roots. Highly recommended: the extended blues chapter in Gray's book is revelatory.
