Welcome to www.gailhama.co.uk - the website of Independent Finds Specialist Gail Hama.
I am a freelance finds specialist based in the north east of England offering a range of consultancy work from assessments to academic reports. I have worked in archaeology since graduating from York University in 1988 and have been a field archaeologist, finds supervisor and researcher, and museum curator. I specialise in finds dating from the Anglo-Saxon period through to post-medieval times. I report on most artefact types with the exception of pottery.
All assessments and reports are to MAP2 and IFA standards.
