Welcome
to Fursbreck Pottery!
Andrew Appleby established Fursbreck Pottery in the
1970s and has built a reputation
for practical pottery with distinctive
style.

The terracotta clay he uses is extemely fine and fires at a very high
temperature, giving excellent glaze quality. His pottery is oven, dishwasher
and microwave proof.
Tea pots and jugs pour nicely and you are welcome to test them at the
pottery. Casseroles cook stupendously well and the mugs, beakers and
goblets are fine and light and are a joy to drink from.
You are most welcome to visit us at the pottery in Harray. We are open
from April to the end of September, and then again from mid-November
until Chritmas. Our
opening times are: Monday to Saturday 9.28am to 5.58pm and we are open
on Sunday afternoons from 2pm(ish) till 5.37pm.
Fursbreck is a working
pottery, so what you will see depends on what is being done
at the time.
You will often find Andrew at his wheel, and visitors can often watch
him throwing a pot or two. |
